No sealant manufacturer in the world will allow a sealant depth of 1”. The minimum depth is 1/4” and maximum depth is 1/2”. Within those parameters it should be 2:1. These dimensions are very critical to sealant life.NEVER INSTALL SEALANT MORE THAN 1/2” DEEP. This is very basic to sealant installation. I’m sure Sika will be interested in knowing one of its distributors is putting out such blatantly false information. And since there is a graphic it isn’t just a matter of mis speaking.

Hi there, i can see you are a real fan of Plastidip products. I was wondering if it could be used as a non conductive application to coat over metal Spigots installed next to pools. This may stop someone getting electricuted if the metal was struck by lightning while someone was in the pool. Cheers, Scott

My metal gas can came with a plastic screen flame arrestor. Will that help at all or just for show?

i have a can simlar to that last one they showed, the metal one it has started leaking but not when it sits. only when i am pouring th egas can. not sure what the issue is. i do not want one of these new stupid plastic cans with all the dumb childrens saftey nonsense as it takes a person with 3 hand to use them practically. any thoughts?

SO if my VynilLandau roof has many cracks from either sun or hail, like 100 of them all in little arcs about size of hailstone, if im plastidipping my entire car anyways, i can just go ahead and plastidip over the vynil Landau roof covering since it has some minor damage anyways and could use some sealing up against rain?

What does the sealing ring in the basket look like and where is it?

I have a thumb snap holster and the I guess you call it female and of the snap button is leaving scratches when I quickly draw my pistol. I was wondering if this product would be good to cover that female part of the snap button so that it would cover the metal and make it so it wouldn't scratch my pistol. Do you think this product would be good for that? What is the liquid tape like after it dries? Is it soft like electrical tape? Thank you for your time... NEVER EVER PUT BLUE PAINTER"S TAPE (or any tape) ON LEATHER...NEVER! When you remove it, it will take off enough of the top layer of color on the leather and leave a non-repairable bare spot where the tape was. Not sure what it does to vinyl but from the looks of this video, it looks OK. Always test an inconspicuous non-visible area on your item first.

Throw a bag of mothballs on your engine block if it's going to be sitting for a while. Do that while my truck sits for a month in yosemite and the squirrels piss right off. Just make sure you leave a note to yourself so you don't drive off with them still on there.

Same thing happened to me, the walnut sitting on top of my engine was a dead give away.

Where is part about foam exploding from the place where you screw it in?

I ended up buying the 3 foot long gun with the swivel tip. I have had a can on there for a few months before. Tried to remember to run it once a month to clear the gun and start the waiting time over again till I got back to it. between using cans and what not I went a long time before cleaning it. The last time I though I had waited to long and the gun had dried up and been ruined. Turned out, the Great Stuff brand cleaner did not fit the gun and would not engage enough to clean it out. I ended up buying another gun and realized it was the great stuff brand can that was the issue. AWF sent me a couple cans of Soudal brand cleaner which fit just fine. So, if the gun seems like it won't clear with the cleaner, try the foam again to see if it really is ruined or the cleaner can won't fit.

where is the "Spout Cutter"?

Are there different spouts available for this can? Due to how the yellow spout attaches, and the angle in which it is molded, it is near impossible to get more than half of the gas out of the can for my vehicles. I have to insert that yellow spout deep enough so that it opens the backflow valve and therefore, cannot pick up the can much at all.

How durable is the finish? I thought about plasti-dipping my garbage can wheels to silence them more and stop that irritating plastic on concrete rattle. Also how to plasti-dip something that doesn't fit in the can? Can you pour this out?

Instead of this expensive kit that I returned because I realized what it was you can use acrylic paint Walmart has it in arts and crafts. Some have a filler you can water down acrylic jel medium or use Elmer's Glue. That is exactly what's in these kits. You can even use satin finish acrylic spray paint. After you've painted it spray it with flat clear coat to stop it from coming off. The expensive kits don't bother telling you that.

Yo make the repair less likely to fail, you should use Masters cement on a peoce of nylon and on the back of the vinyl and put them together. Then on the front use the Plasti Dip
